Faculty List

We have advertised nationally once and locally thrice. We could get only four junior faculty. It is not that we are not paying well. Hundreds of applicants were there but had no skills, knowledge or competencies as required. Therefore we have innovated and appointed 5 core faculty with excellent qualifications and experience in industry / research / consulting, to be associated with SCMLD being on our rolls, committed to teach, train, coach, guide and mentor our students. Physically they will be available for 4 - 6 days full time per month and teach 1 - 2 courses per trimester, otherwise available 24x7 through e-mail and as required. Like hospitals availing of services of specialist consultants, we are availing their expertise with their 100% commitment, to be available to our students. In the given list of last two years we have now 7 full time faculty including the founder director, 6 senior core faculty, a full time Research Associate and 84 regular visiting faculty besides 53 experts for workshops are associated with us. Two more full time faculty are being appointed. Furthermore, we are now sourcing very dynamic and young but experienced working industry professionals from all over India to conduct special workshops, topics/function wise, to give students insights into contemporary practical realities. Since 2004, SCMLD had the privilege of 357 guest speakers and around 470 seminar speakers addressing our students. Inputs to students from best faculty are more important than physical availability of incompetent faculty on campus. Most of you must have experienced this reality in your colleges. Hence our efforts this way. We, like many others, are in constant lookout for good full time faculty. Anyone who is really good and willing to be associated with SCMLD as faculty is most welcome.
