Today our country needs, and all organisations are looking for, people with a difference in thinking and action, be it in government service, politics, business or industry. SCMLD's endeavour is to nurture and help develop 200 - 250 spirited youngsters with passion, energy and potential to make a difference... wherever they are, in whoever are in their circle of influence and whatever is within their control.

Opportunities will come seeking such youngsters as there is absolute shortage everywhere, of competent people with commitment and conscience. Hype, hoopla, packaging, coverups and pretensions cannot achieve sustainable success. Every one knows it but few practice truth. SCMLD is trying to experiment with truth. If we get such passionate and daring students we will exist. If not, it is better to not exist. And we shall not exist as one amongst the crowd.

Together, we win. Alone, it is difficult. The journey may be slow but surely we are moving closer to our goal. It is important that everyone help everyone. We all need the support of many beings for our selves to sustain and grow. Continuation of the journey, accepting the realities as they are, with discipline, determination, dedication, trust, faith, confidence and the unique strengths / talents of individuals synergised toward a greater purpose in a spirit of collaboration only will ensure success - collective and individual. This is equally true for a business enterprise. It is not possible to lead by memorising knowledge prescribed by somebody. Using the knowledge / wisdom of the earlier generations, the present generation should discover its own potential & the new realities and work symbiotically to succeed.

Hence SCMLD's approach of learning by doing, exploration, experimentation and experiential realisation - working in teams, trusting each other and being trustworthy. Team skills gets good score in ECGPA.

Mission

To identify young people with professional and entrepreneurial aspirations, talents & determination and trigger them off to become ethics & values driven business leaders, by enlightening & enabling them to have right perspectives, and grooming them with knowledge, insights, skills, healthy habits and envisioning & intuitive abilities so that they act original with clear vision, conviction & confidence, being competent, and thus be an inspiration to others, besides charting their own success / purpose.

• To infuse in them action orientation and the core values of hard-work, self discipline, sense of purpose, commitment, responsibility & accountability, thoroughness, partnership, camaraderie, co-operative striving, social & environmental concern and a spirit of community service, so that they, through enlightened ways & means, spread prosperity, peace, harmony and happiness around.... and thus, create a cadre of inspiring, competent and powerful role models of action & change who, in turn, will empower and embolden others by being examples.
