A Day at SCMLD

7:00 am to 7:45 am

: Workout / aerobics and Suryanamaska (Alternate days - 3 days in a week)

7:50 am to 8:35 am       : Yoga and Pranayama
(Alternate days - 3 days in a week)
8:00 am to 9:00 am      : Breakfast
9:10 am to 9:55 am       : Group Meditation
10:00 am to 11:30 am  : Academic Session - I  
11:45 am to 1:15 pm : Academic Session - II
1:15 pm to 2:00 pm : Lunch break
2:00 pm to 2:30pm : Group Kaizen/ Community Work
2:30 pm to 3:00 pm : Group Relaxation - afternoon siesta
3:00 pm to 5:15 pm : Self study / Library Hours/ Team Learning
5:15 pm to 6:45 pm : Academic session - III
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm : Academic session - IV
8:30 pm to 9:00 pm : Dinner
9:30 pm  : Hostel attendance
9:30pm to 11:55pm : Silent Time (At hostels)
12 midnight to 5am : Lights off/ and in bed/ sleep
5:00am / 6:30 am : Silent Time/ get ready/ read

Important Note

  1. Hostel- (9:30pm to 11:55pm is silent time exclusively for reading books/ rest/ sleep) Use of mobile phones and laptops are not allowed during this time. Hostels are at 10 - 15 minutes walking distance from the campus. One day a month night out is available with parent’s written request received at least 24 hrs in advance at the institute office.
  2. Use of mobile phones is not allowed within the campus premises. It should be in switch-off mode. Laptops are not allowed in classrooms and library.

Time Management:  If you discount time, time will discount you. There is a price to be paid for success. Success refuses to visit the lazy. Mountaineering is for the adventurous. Leaders are in short supply but dealers you will find many.
