Placement is not an end. It’s a means to achieve life’s purpose. Jargons, laptops, powerpoint presentations or fear, anxiety , impatience and desperation to win by shortcuts , will not lead to lasting success, fulfillment, happiness and peace & harmony within. One has to work hard with patience and persistence. Ratan Tata, Azim Premji, Narayana Murthy et al have not emerged successful overnight. They worked hard and are still working hard with determination. If one looks at Dr. Abdul Kalam, Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar, Sania Mirza, Aishwarya Rai, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Sam Pitroda or Sridharan of the Metro Railway, to name a few contemporaries, one can find that the position, honour, success and their stature, came chasing them. They didn’t fake their bio-data going to a consultant or a placement agency asking for tips and tricks to succeed . They worked hard with dedication and diligence. The nature played its own role and they th eirs . Opportunities came seeking them rather than they hunting for it. They concentrated in excelling in what ever they did.
