Philosophy ..

Eyes open I see, Closed I have vision...
Prayer illumines and elevates.
-----------------------------------------------------------

One can be what one aspires to be, provided one has a vision and works with conviction and persistence. Accomplishments presuppose faith, patience, confidence, principle centeredness and the perseverance to evolve through right and continuous learning and improvement, by extreme devotion, being a servant of one’s own mission, stretching voluntarily to one’s limits challenging difficulties and hardships as opportunities.
However, for success to be ’enjoyed’ one must cultivate and practice absolute transparency, straight-forwardness, purity in thoughts, words and actions, humility,  modesty, forgiveness, non-violence, gratitude and self restraint on lust, greed, anger, attachment and pride. If rules of  reason, morality, openness and ethics are not  observed in earning wealth and positions, success may lead to misery; ’aadhi’ - physical ailments, ’vyaadhi’- mental afflictions and ’upadhi’ - positional egos. And success will become ’suffering’.

It does not mean that one has to abandon all  desires and deny everything and lead a “DRY” life of doing nothing of challenge and significance. Material prosperity and comforts, wanting to be somebody, to be somewhere on top etc. are  absolutely one’s choice. But if peace and happiness are to come by, it is important that love, compassion, morality, transparency,  respect and affection are practised. Along with  material prosperity and achievements, if one can love the unlovable (everything in the universe),  give hope to the hopeless and the weak, be friendly with the friendless and encourage the  discouraged and thus be rich at heart, hating and hurting none, then life becomes ’joyful’ and one’s success becomes other’s success as well. This is the way to become an asset to oneself, one’s family, community, country and the world. SCMLD will show you the path to  become somebody with an inside of ’nobodiness’ housing  ’everybody’ in it.
