Opportunities will come seeking such youngsters as there is an absolute shortage of people with commitment, conscience, out of the box thinking and purpose driven action / work.
We do not want to exist as one amongst the jostling herds around. We want to create SCMLD as a unique place nurturing value based leadership. Unfortunately, morals and values are at an all time low today. Disasters are being manufactured everyday. Scams and scandals are tumbling out everyday involving the high and mighty. Surprisingly, such people are not only shameless but are also proud of such scandals and scams. Immorality is to such an extent that it is almost getting immortalised. Money has become everything today. We do not know how to find good people. Therefore, we are transparent in our approach and philosophy so that those who value “values” come to us on their own. If you have any doubt that values do not work, please leave SCMLD to itself. We have no time and resources to convince you. We are looking for the convinced ones.
Today will become yesterday and tomorrow will become today. The journey today towards the destination is more important and not the destination per se. The journey may be slow but must be sincere, joyful, meaningful and full of new experiences. SCMLD is for those who wish to learn the art and science of journeying, progressing better than yesterday so that success is an everyday experience. SCMLD’s approach is one of learning by doing - exploration, experimentation and experiential realisation, working in teams, trusting each other and being trustworthy. Using the wisdom of the earlier generations, the present generation should discover its own individual and collective knowhow, potential and the new realities and work symbiotically to succeed making everyone win submitting to the nature’s laws. Theoretical learning - learning of concepts and theories - is also of equal importance alongside doing and learning continuously for leadership to keep evolving in oneself.
|India doesn’t need any more men who only speak and advise. Knowledge and solutions are plenty in Gita, Upnishads, Vedas etc. and most importantly in our constitution and consciousness.
India needs action people with ethics, values, courage, conviction, enterprise and entrepreneurship driven by a larger purpose of contributing towards prosperity and well being for all.
Break the mental chain of ‘waiting for getting / taking’ and plunge into ‘doing things and giving’. Giving, and giving the best, is leadership.
Taking and hoarding is burden. Giving is freedom.
